Our team rollerblader Scott Quinn walked away with first place and £600 at the Evolution Skate Jam in Saltcoats the other day.

Inline Coaching Sessions.

There will be inline coaching sessions on Saturday 31st, July & Sunday 1st, August.
The session’s will run from 10am till 12 noon and will cost £10 for 2 hours.

You can book a place by calling 01389 768333 to guarantee yourself a space or you can just pay on the day.

Bmx & Skateboard lessons will be announced for the following weeks shortly.

Urban Arts festival

Come along and try some new skills and techniques in Sparc’s fun Arts sessions taking place at Unit 23 Skatepark! Each day is a different session – come to just one or come to them all! All sessions are free but spaces in each session are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis… call 01389 772148 for a form or pick one up at the park.

Urban Fashions
Monday

Are you the next Lady Gaga, or Gok Wan?

Work with our artists to customise tee-shirts, shoes or hats… put your unique urban stamp on an item of clothing to make a one off original… priceless! You will also have the chance to recycle old clothes into new accessories (participants should bring an old pair of jeans to the session to participate in this part)

DJ- ing
Tuesday

Work with our resident DJ to learn how to scratch & mix or have a go at creating your own tracks on the laptop… you don’t have to play an instrument or be able to read music to have a go! Produce original tracks be they hip hop/ dance/rock or pop… you decide…

Graffiti Art
Wednesday

Experiment with Stencilling, tagging & freehand spraying to design and paint your own piece of art which you can take away with you at the end of the session. … You don’t have to be a great artist… all you need is inspiration! (Overalls will be provided BUT participants should wear old clothes and shoes)

Street / Break Dance
Thursday

Working with our dance crew you will learn new moves from lockin’ and poppin’ to power moves … come on… show us what you got!… are you the next Diversity?

Digital Art
Friday

Experiment with photography, digital design and printing to create your own tee-shirt art. You don’t need any previous experience in digital art or printing as our artists well help you every step of the way!
